SkyTrack collects only the minimum amount of data necessary to track flight routes, manage subscriptions, and personalize your experience.

2.1 Personal Information You Provide

When using the app, you may voluntarily provide:

  • Name (optional)

  • Email address – used for account identification, receipts, and support

  • Location (country/language region only) – used exclusively for language settings and localized content

We do not use exact GPS or real-time location. Only broad regional settings are used (e.g., “Germany”, “USA”, “France”).

2.2 Flight Tracking & App Usage Data

To provide flight price tracking and notifications, the app stores:

  • Flight routes and specific dates you choose to track

  • Your tracking preferences (e.g., price alerts, favorite routes)

  • Subscription status

  • App language and settings

This data is stored securely and used only to deliver the services you request.

2.3 Affiliate Link Interactions

When you open affiliate links (e.g., booking sites, travel partners), those external websites may use their own tracking methods. SkyTrack does not track your behavior outside the app and does not receive personal information from affiliate partners.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used ONLY to:

  • Track flight prices for the routes you select

  • Send you optional notifications about price changes

  • Restore purchases or manage your subscription

  • Contact you if you explicitly request support

  • Set the correct app language and improve the user experience

SkyTrack does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

4. No Tracking & Limited Analytics

SkyTrack does not use:

  • Advertising networks

  • Third-party marketing trackers

  • Social media SDKs

The app may use basic, anonymous analytics to understand overall app performance (e.g., crash logs, number of users, general feature usage). No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics.

Cookies are used only when essential to app functionality.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, all payments are handled securely by:

  • Apple App Store

  • Google Play Store

SkyTrack does not receive or store your payment information. All billing and cancellation processes are managed by the respective app store.

6. Affiliate Links

SkyTrack includes affiliate links to flight providers and travel partners. When you tap such a link:

  • You may be redirected to an external website

  • The partner may track that you came from SkyTrack using standard affiliate technology

SkyTrack does not track your browsing behavior on those external sites and does not receive personal data from affiliate partners.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your personal and app data may be stored in the following ways:

  1. Securely on your device

  2. Secure cloud storage provided by Apple or Google systems (depending on your device settings)

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect all stored data from unauthorized access.

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

8. Sharing of Data

Your information is not shared with third parties except when required by:

  • Legal obligations

  • Support inquiries initiated by you

  • App Store or Play Store systems needed for subscription management, backups, or updates

No advertisers, marketing companies, or external analytics providers receive your data.

9. Children’s Privacy

SkyTrack is not specifically designed for children, but it may be used by minors. We intentionally collect no sensitive personal information.

Under GDPR, you have the right to request:

  • Correction or deletion
